Sleep Room
The sleep room has been beautifully painted by local artist Mrs Debbie Fralick who also painted the mural on the outside of the building. The room is also going to be used as a sensory room to help nursery staff in behaviour management of the children. The sensory room is being developed in memory of Miss Jen Grundy who worked at the nursery form the beginning, but who sadly died in her sleep aged just 23 years. We are at the moment working in conjunction with Blackpool Illuminations department on this project. All children can have a rest in the sleep room if they want but it is mainly used by the Toddler room and any child who is not well and waiting to go home. The children's mats that they sleep on are all named and they all have their own named covers which are laundered every week.
