Early Years Foundation Stage
The Pre-Schoolers use the main part of the building which is divided into areas of learning with special dividers. We use "continuous provision" for the 3 to 4 year olds where they are free to choose which area they would like to play in. All the toys and equipment are placed at child level and have a picture and writing on the boxes so the children can replace the toys when they have finished with them. We follow the National Curriculum for the Foundation stage which follows through into reception class at school.
